Happy last day of May and 5th day of Ramadan! How is fasting going for everyone so far? This year’s Ramadan has been pretty easy for me that I sometimes forget I’m fasting and maybe it’s because the way I have been eating lately.
For suhoor I tend to stick to eating dates and fruits like watermelon, bananas, and strawberries. Sticking to eating fruits and dates for suhoor will give you energy throughout the day and will reduce your hunger and thirst. For iftaar, well. . . that changes daily obviously, but I try to always incorporate soups with my meals.
Today’s blog post, if the title isn’t clear enough, is one of the trends this season. . . ruffles! I recently was contacted by SheIn for a collaboration and I am so excited to share with you guys a few of their pieces including this ruffled top.
Ruffles are so bold and fun and make a statement themselves. Whether you are wearing a ruffled top, jacket, pants, etc. you do not have to incorporate any accessories since the ruffles are bold themselves. If you do wish to add any accessories, try to stick to simple jewelry like these bracelets.
There are so many ways you could actually wear this top. You could wear it with black trousers for something more business casual or could keep it casual with jeans or white trousers.
I decided to pair the pink and white striped shirt with ripped boyfriend jeans rather than trousers to make the outfit look a little more relaxed and decided to wear nude heels rather than flats or sneakers to make it look less casual.
